What is the difference between rotating and static shared datacenter proxies?
1min
Rotating proxies mean that you connect to the whole IP pool and we will rotate your proxies automatically with every request you send.
Static proxies mean that you connect to a specific IP and it will stay the same until you rotate it manually (change the port).
Whether the proxy is rotating or static is determined by the port number:
| Rotating shared DC proxies | Static shared DC proxies |
Description | 1 port = IPs will rotate automatically | 1 port = 1 static IP |
Port (Paid proxies) | 8000 | 8001... |
Port (Free proxies) | 11000 | 11001 - 12000 |
